the power wire linked to the OEM harness vs. a stand alone source. No one (including you) detail instructions on how to install the dual fuel pump setup without burning up the OEM wiring. The fix is simple, connect the ground to the OEM harness but run a seperate power wire independent to the OEM wiring. Per learnings from you when you designed this setup 7 years ago, the OEM FPC manages the fuel pump speed through the ground source. At best, stating that the power wire can connect to the OEM wiring is a fire hazard just waiting to happen. Why take the risk so close to the fuel tank? It makes no sense.
